《小茶几桌布 by 瑪姬》
暖洋洋的五月，學校裡總少不了以母親節為主的 project，有卡片、繪畫、美勞和寫作等等作品，無論何種形式，看在媽媽眼中都是窩心的寶貝，即使像艾瑪卡片裡沒頭沒尾的一句『If I could have the best day ever with my mom, I would go swimming.』也讓我忍不住揚起微笑～『THE MOM BOOK』是瑪姬班上的母親節 project 之一，每頁都寫了一篇送給媽媽的文章，瑪姬的文筆比我想像中的還好，心思也偶爾會出乎意料的細膩，挑了我最喜歡的兩篇放在文中吧……

When I have trouble with my homework, mom always says, “Do your best.” When I am sad, mom always says, “Don’t worry, and you’ll be happy!” When I am angry, mom always says, “Go into your room and calm down. You’ll feel better.” When I am hurt, mom always says, “Do you want a band-aid?” When I am sick, mom always says, “Rest, rest and rest.” When I say to mom, “I love you.” Mom says, “I love you too.”
===== My Mom is Special Because… ====
I think my mom is special because she always forgives me and she is very nice and never breaks her promises. But what I think what really makes my mom special is that she is a mom. She gave up all these other awesome careers like an astronomer, a chemist, a biologist, a geologist, or a physicist. She chose to be an awesome mom and care of me, Emma and dad. And that’s why I think my mom is special.

Maggie的《我的妈妈很特别》一文真的好让人感动！一方面觉得她真是小小年纪就很有思想，另一方面也怀疑，这是不是美国的教育理念对小朋友的影响——鼓励他们珍视他人为自己的奉献，尤其是父母。
